At Blue Tomato, everything we do is driven by passion — for fashion-forward streetwear, snow, surf, skate, and the lifestyle that connects us. As a Regional Sales Manager, you take on one of the most influential leadership roles in our Retail organization. You are the connector between our stores, our people, and our brand vision. Your mission: empower teams, accelerate sales growth, strengthen profitability, elevate performance, and bring the Blue Tomato spirit into every shop across your region. Your region will cover approx. 8–11 stores. If you are motivated by developing people, turning data into actionable commercial decisions, and driving an inspiring and high-performing Retail culture, this role is the perfect next step for you.

Join our team

Blue Tomato is the leading omnichannel retailer for those who want to live out their passions. We create opportunities for growth and offer unique moments and new experiences. We live and breathe everything related to snowboarding, freeskiing, surfing, skateboarding, and street style, and we are deeply rooted in these communities. In addition to our online shop, we have over 85 stores across nine countries with more than 850 employees.

Your tasks

  • You lead, coach and develop the Store Managers of your region through clear targets, regular feedback and performance reviews. Together with People & Relations, you ensure adequate staffing, succession planning and recruiting – and you live and promote the Blue Tomato culture.
  • You take ownership of your region’s sales and KPI targets, such as conversion, €pT/UPT and labour productivity. You analyse data, drive actionable measures with your Store Managers and steer labour hours, staff deployment and scheduling in line with sales and personnel cost targets.
  • You regularly visit your stores and support store operations. You ensure brand, visual merchandising, service and process standards as well as compliance (e.g. labour law, health & safety, inventory), control operating costs, report on regional performance and support budget and sales planning.
  • You contribute to strategic retail projects as well as leadership and training initiatives, support store openings, relocations, refits and closings, and share product, customer and market insights with our headquarters.

Our requirements

  • You have completed a commercial education (a business degree or further leadership training is a plus) and bring at least 2–3 years of leadership experience in Retail – ideally in multi-store management in fashion, sports or lifestyle.
  • You lead with a coaching mindset and a passion for people development, have strong communication and feedback skills, and the confidence to guide Store Managers and diverse teams.
  • You have a strong KPI and good P&L understanding, know your way around budgeting, cost control, store operations, visual merchandising and workforce planning, and have basic knowledge of labour law.
  • You think analytically and entrepreneurially, you work in a structured, hands-on way and stay resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced Retail environment.
  • You are confident with Microsoft 365 (especially Excel) and BI tools such as Power BI and have a very good command of English (B2–C1); further languages are an advantage.
  • You are willing to travel approx. 60–70 % within your region, including overnight stays.
  • You share our passion for snow, surf, skate and streetwear.

We offer you

  • The position can be filled within the DACH region. The position is remote, however, you are required to travel for shop visits and other purposes.
