Your tasks
- Supervision and responsibility for the assigned product ranges
- Strategic assortment planning and optimization across all sales channels, considering market trends, customer needs, and performance metrics
- Adherence to the budgets for the assigned product ranges
- Optimization of product selection and store assortment in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ongoing cross-departmental alignment on market trends, product developments, and sales performance to identify opportunities early and derive actionable measures
- Active supplier management, including the development of long-term partnerships as well as leading price and commercial negotiations
- Identification and development of new business opportunities through inventory turnover optimization, strategic expansion of the brand portfolio, and the development of private label brands
Our requirements
- Completed commercial education or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in buying (minimum 3 years), ideally within the retail industry or a fast-paced international environment
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and consumer behavior
- Initial experience in leading and developing employees, either in a functional or disciplinary capacity, with a passion for fostering team growth
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, combined with the ability to handle feedback, conflicts, and challenging situations constructively
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset, complemented by negotiation skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to work
- High degree of flexibility, eagerness to learn, and a hands-on mentality in a dynamic and fast-changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- The minimum salary according to the applicable collective agreement is 2.867,42 gross per month for a 40-hour work week, based on full fulfillment of the job profile. The actual compensation will, of course, be based on your individual qualifications and relevant professional experience.
